*Our initial Question 23 was "Who is the author of the poem at the end of The Shape of Water?" Nobody got the correct answer, though; it seemed/seems the whole internet was/is looking for the right author, so we decided to replace Question 23. No one had been professional enough to look deep, but Matt Thrift, author at Little White Lies, did: the answer is/seems to be "buried deep in the closing credits" of the film, as it can be read in Thrift's review.
So, read Matt Thrift's review and answer the (same) question.
Who is the author of the poem at the end of The Shape of Water?
The top 3 students to get the correct answer will score 7, 5 and 3 points, respectively; all other students with correct answers will score 1 point.
You have +/- 48 hours to answer the question.
Deadline: Monday, 19/2/2018 - 23:59.

ResponderEliminarAnswer: Hakim Sanai. "Buried deep in the closing credits is an acknowledgement of the work of the 12th Century Muslim poet, Hakim Sanai, who is perhaps responsible for the film’s closing words. That Sufi spiritualism should inform The Shape of Water’s message of love and tolerance (in opposition to Strickland’s twisted biblical appropriations) comes as little surprise given its director’s wide pool of influences."
ResponderEliminarJoão Paulo Amorim (11.º E), Inês Sousa (11.º B) and Carlos Nunes (11.º B) get 7, 5 and 3 points; all other 4 students score 1 point each.
